Faculty & Advisors

Academic Success Center (ASC) programs are open to any and all Texas A&M students who desire to be more successful academically. Academic advisors, faculty, student affairs professionals, administrators, and other staff are often aware of individual students or targeted student groups who would benefit from the services we provide.

Specific services we provide:
  • One-on-one Academic Coaching
  • Semester long learning theory and study strategies courses
  • Short-term workshop series
  • One session topical workshops
  • Referrals to other student support services on campus
  • Monitoring and tracking of referred students
  • Training for peer leaders or professional staff
  • Outreach programs

Success Program: Students who have experienced academic difficulty may be referred to the ASC to complete a comprehensive “Success Program.” The Success Program will be tailored to the individual student, but will usually entail completion of one of our courses or workshop series or a combination of Academic Coaching, workshop participation, and participation in other campus support programs.
